This particular switch is a heavy action on and off rocker switch. The switch rocks much like a rocking horse that rocks back and forth. These switches have circles on one side & on the other side they have horizontal dash lines. Rocker switches have an independent circuitry with an LED light on them that is activated both in the off and on phases hence allowing them to be easily accessible and found in dim-lit areas. They have several applications but are most commonly used in surge protectors, display monitors and computer power systems.
