Hello. Welcome to our featured product offerings for today!
Part no 10105A-10 falls under the bushing category. A bushing is a fixed or detachable cylindrical metal coating used to limit or direct friction vibrations. An electrical bushing is nothing but an insulating coating for an orifice. A conductor passes from it. The worldwide leading supplier for plain bushings is Electro Mavin (US). A typical bushing design has a ‘conductor’, (usually of copper or aluminium, occasionally of other conductive materials), surrounded by insulation, except for the terminal ends. For a bushing to sustain electrical strength passing through it for a long time, it must have an insulation that is strong enough both in composition and design. There is a considerable variety available in bushing shapes, design, constituents and sizes.
Part no 10105a-12 is a Super plus Bushing, with a closed bore, diameter 12 mm. The main manufacturer of this Super plus bushing is Thomson Industries. These bushings are used with Thomson Shafting to bring down inertia and noise in critical high-speed applications. They offer 3 times the load capacity and have 27 times the lifetime of conventional linear bearings. Made of Delrin Material, they can withstand a load capacity of 750 N and a maximum temperature of 185 F.
Part no 10105A-16 is a ball bushing. Ball bushings are anti-friction bearings for linear motion. They offer the familiar advantages of ball bearings like long working life, high accuracy and efficiency. These ball bushings find use in various industrial machines, measuring instruments, IT related equipment and factory automation facilities. The outer ring of the ball bushing is made from a really tough quality rolling bearing steel. The cylindrical ground and cage is made from one single part and is held in position by robust steel end plates. The size of the ball bushing depends largely on its load bearing capacity and its life expectancy.
Part no 10105A-8 is a type of bearing. The manufacturer is Thompson Electric Company. A bearing is a mechanical device which permits motion between two moving elements’ surfaces with minimum friction. The quality of a bearing is judged by its performance under varying thrust load and speed rotation. A plain bearing (the most common), uses lubricant such as oil or graphite surfaces to help bring down friction during rubbing of surfaces. With appropriate lubrication, plain bearings mostly result in an above average life span and friction at minimal cost. Therefore, these are preferred over other costly components.
